yes it can be done, how would you like to activate the FBH?
You can do it via a remote signal from "the front door" or via the proper timer kit but I think these are hard to find. Other members have used a GSM with a sim card fitted so they can send a text message to turn it on. A simple remote from the front door, speak with Devilish, a member here. I think I have spelt his name wrong but it is close. You can fit an "on /off" switch that you manually operate to earth one of the pins ad that will turn it on. try https://www.gsm-uk.net/ for sending a text to activate the fbh macafee2 Last edited by macafee2; 31st October 2020 at 19:46.. |

I like the remote control operation as supplied by devlish, which also includes a led to show that it’s been switched on.
Personally, I don’t think I would like the fbh being operated if I wasn’t within eyesight of the car, so remote control operation was more appealing to me than operation by sms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

26 November 2015. Search Duotone’s posts for that date in search mode. Everything is there for you.

I'll add my twopenneth having just had one fitted....today.
Get Devilish to do it. Absolutely worth the money. You'll come away with a fully checked and working remote controller. I'll give most things a try and have been working on cars for 40+ years. If you're really very comfortable with vehicle electrics & electronics then give it a go but otherwise I'd leave it to someone who genuinely knows what they're doing and has all the hardware and tools to make it happen. Good Luck. Last edited by AndyN01; 4th November 2020 at 20:38.. |
