Evening Andy I used to love Guinness & drank it most of the time but it doesn't like me any more & gives me terrible acid reflux
Cats are asleep on the bed at the back of me & one is snoring like a trooper

Cool

Evening all.

Been a beautiful day here, warm sunshine. Got all the washing out on the whirly burly thing. Both cars washed and dried off.

Apple n pork sausages from the local butchers, bloomin’ tasty, for dinner..

Chilling with a large Glenlivet, Caribbean Reserve.

Come up here and wash our cars Bob, I'm ashamed to say my ZT hasn't been washed since before Christmas!

Mine gets washed every couple of weeks not that you would notice with the flying rats around here.
I did a first since Christmas today.. Put some fuel in my ZT-T.. I last filled up when we returned from Norfolk back end of last year.

Plenty of flying rats Ian, the works carpark is a favourite for the resident seagulls, think they have moved out of Gt Yarmouth due to lack of holidaymakers!

Evening all, the saga of the the sale of my aunt’s house hoes on, spoke to my solicitor today and it seems the buyer and their conveyancer are just using delaying tactics until their buyer has received their mortgage offer. We have given them until the end of this week to pull their finger out and make a move or we are pulling the plug and moving to another agent. They have pi.. f4rted about for 8 weeks , we should be near completion date at this stage instead we are no further forward from when the offer was first made. I’m so peed off, was just starting to feel better and I get another kick in the teeth. Just goes to prove my sig note is true

Courtesy of the pandemic Richard a brake has been applied to many legal proceedings. I have been pursuing/resisting a couple of actions myself since the back end of 2018. One being the disposal of the property of my late mum who passed away then and the other being her care fees in her final months, which I opposed against other family members because I felt that her care needs were not as described by those who felt otherwise. I appealed the fees and guess what, the family members responsible for them are now attacking me for every single penny which they think that they can extract from this and my mum's passing. Reality is, courtesy of the pandemic, the appeal was put on hold for over one year while the local NHS trust prioritized Covid and the appeal is yet to be decided. Yeah, I have been forced to instruct a solicitor, not cheap at all, and I expect will get a lot more expensive when a barrister is called into the mix on the roadway to court. Problem there is, courts have a big backlog of cases to deal with courtesy of the pandemic. I would make allowance for Covid in your situation Richard, over the last year or so everything normal is not now so.
