The door I replaced it with had the glass and mech fitted, the rest I put on when it was fitted to the car.
The first time I replaced the door there were two of us doing it, however I've learned to do it an easier way now and can do it quite easily on my own, however someone to guide the door onto the hinge is a bonus.
Ensure the glass is down in the door.
It was easier this time as the wing was off, or you can remove all the wing bolts and pull the wing away from the car,you dont have to remove it, you can then easily access the door wiring loom and undo it, remove the two small circlips on the top part of both hinges door side and undo the two nuts on the pillar holding the door stay, then grab the door handle and the bottom of door and open and close the door and lift at the same time, it doesnt take much tho and it'll be off.
Once you've replaced the door (dont forget to replace the circlips on the hinges) connect the loom and put some grease in the plug, put the door lock mechanism in first but be careful of the rod from the handle to lock, try not to let it wind or unwind as it can be a bit of a pain trying to get the adjustment right so you can open the door, also leave the inner door handle connected by its wire.
Once you're happy that the door opens/close's and locks ok then refit the glass and mech.
Doing it this way saves you damaging the wing and door edge's (although I've heard people putting tape on the wing and door edge's ) and also allows you easy access to the door plug in the pillar.

I haven't tried it but you should be able to pull the wiring loom through the hole in the door if you don't want to disturb the wing, however, you will have to protect the wing and door edge's.

Finally got around to replacing the pollen filter as last time I checked my plenum (4 months ago) thought oh I must change you as it was really manky, Quite shocking how bad it was but it was good to check the plenum again after the lashings of rain we have had here in the mountains but very pleased all dry in there.

in last few days , all seats out of the 260



Sold the fronts to a Ford Van man

(anyone fancy some nice Alcantara's rears)



Wired in a rear seat USB charger panel .


Sorted out a console bracket that never had enough fixings in it from the factory .

Just had to get one of the new front tyres sorted. I picked up a nail somewhere, but at least it could be fixed. £20 at my home after work which I thought was very fair. And finally a tyre guy that torques the nuts by hand not doing them up like an oversized baboon like most do with those airguns!

I had a similar happy experience at a local tyre shop recently.
When I picked the car up there was a card on the seat stating that the wheels had been torques up to 92 ft-lbs and the tyres checked at 32psi.
One of those nice little professional touches you seldom see anymore.

BTW: I put 1000 trouble free kms on the ZT in the last week travelling on Vancouver Island. Very nice!

Removed the rear bumper and changed the offside rear reversing sensor, now have working sensors
Also removed the front bumper and cleaned the outside air temperature sensor connector now got a correct stable temperature reading

Neighbour was throwing out a roll of carpet. Offered to take it to skip,but kept some back.Never liked the dark boot,so brightened it up a bit.

Just fitted the ZT rear anti roll bar that has been sitting around for the last four years. Only trouble was my stainless exhaust was made without the roll bar fitted, I shall have to adjust the run of the pipe as it touches the left hand bracket, nowt straightforward eh?

Drove the Blue tourer back to it's owner in Nottingham, and collected the old man's Disappointing Grey one from Tom Hobbs.......excellent repairs carried out to the highest standards

Fixed an old friends Rock-Ola Mystic, then drove home stopping off at Heather's place for a cup of coffee and cake .........378 miles covered.

Everyone happy, a result indeed.....so I'll sort out the SRS lamp and the errant charge warning lamp, then get the thing tested.

Not that I'm looking forward to getting Frosty back, but I'm looking forward to getting Frosty back
