I've got this since having my tyres replaced this week. Had it before and the chap at the ATS garage sorted it in seconds. He said it was the dust cover?
Would love to be able to fix it myself now as the ATS garage has closed down.

Any ideas chaps?

Brake back plate distorted and rubbing on the drum, that would take seconds to fix and might be stopped by applying the handbrake. They are just thin steel, easily bent.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Yes, this is what it has been in the past when I've had the tyres changed. The ATS guy sorted it in seconds.
I've just had the wheel off and tried to bend it away from the drum as best I can, but the ticking noise is still there.

Had a similar thing last year.
One of the adhesive balancing weights on the inside of the alloy was just catching the brake caliper as the wheel rotated.
Could that be it?
Good luck
John

One of the brake shoe holding pins dislodged in a rusting backplate?
