Here's another task that should be simple.

Pollen Filter.
For the money BMW gave Rover to develop the car you'd think someone would have realised that it is a terrible design!
No wonder they hardly ever get changed.
Even after dismantling all the panels in front of the windscreen the filter is still an absolute pain to get out, and worse to get in, usually taking a blood sacrifice. For another 50p they could have mounted it in a pivoting frame to make it easy to change.
The only positive thing about this job is that it forces you to take a look in the plenum and you can see if it has turned into an aquarium.
