Default A big thank you to Rimmers

As is now customary to thank our favourite sellers for doing what they are there to do, which is to sell and dispatch the sold items, I would like to preemptively thank all the employees of Rimmer Brothers who will be getting up tomorrow morning to progress my order just placed.

I know that I will receive excellent service, so why wait?

The world of Rover ownership is made a better place by your efforts.

Default I was right!!

At 11:00am, got notification to say that the order for the 4 parts, including a clutch sleeve assembly, has been shipped and another from Royal Mail to say that they had received the package.

Cost of P&P via first class delivery was £4.20+VAT.

I'm not sure where the "Rimmers' excessive P&P charges" views originate as I would not class £4.20 given the size of the order as excessive. In fact, quite a bargain!

I've had Great service from more than a few suppliers and some excellent bargains

I've always found using Rimmers to be an easy drama free experience had some Good deals too

Could it be the complaints about p+p may be due folks adding parts to the basket on the Rimmers site and forgetting the Basket total displayed at the top of the page is minus VAT I've never had an issue with their postage costs

Paul.

My most recent experience with Rimmer Brothers hasn’t been exactly great. I find them very useful but the last visit left a pretty sour taste

Praise when due, speak as you find - fair enough for me.

In they past I believe they charged what could be called an excessive charge, I for instance was charged £12.95 for a ZT radiator cap p&p and the same for a the same for a fan belt for the Dolomite a pedal rubber for the ZT and a cam cover gasket for the dolomite. All a bit much in my opinion. They now however seem to have listened and are more competitive.

I'll add a well done too for Rimmers. Spoke to them less then an hour ago and they have done a manual check on stock quality. Found items of a better quality and will post today for delivery tomorrow.
It is not always the faulty that makes a reputation but how it is handled and in this case, handled very well, very pleased. I hope they arrive tomorrow

duly arrived and one fitted with new seals now waiting gassing

Default Even happier today!

The parts arrived this morning, so next working day delivery without having paid any extra charges for the privilege.

The parts were beautifully protected/packed and with a clear statement of warranty as well as a returns form in the package should it be necessary.

All for £4.20+VAT P&P!

Got an order delivered for a part I no longer required from Rimmers rang and the lovely lady sorted everything very apologetic she couldn’t refund postage . This was Tuesday sent the item back and money in my bank today wonderful service. Oh and it arrived her the next day after ordering for a very reasonable 7.95 for a complete rear hub assembly.
