I'm not great with electrics - this seems to be safer (certainly easier) than me messing around at the back of the fuse board for a connection - and, the Blind will be on it's own fused supply.


I used a 10a fuse last night as it was the smallest I had - i'd assume 5a would be a more suitable fuse to use here ?

I'm sure a 10A fuse will be fine. The motor probably wouldn't put enough load on the wires the even make them warm. You could try a 5A and see if it is heavy enough for normal use.

I just used one of those piggy back fuse holders for the first time ever, too, when putting a driving light circuit in the truck. Very handy, alright.
