Default Unipart spare parts

I have today had a reply to an e.mail I sent to Unipart. The reply does state that they no longer sell hard car parts. Sini die. So you will now not be able to get unipart car parts off the shelf. You can get in touch with unipart garages to find a garage to repair your car, but it does not say that they will use unipart goods.

Not exactly a positive outcome to your enquiry. It seems that the better quality suppliers are calling it a day. Makes you wonder how poor the parts will be 10 years from now if all we have is cheap and tatty Chinese rubbish. That goes for all cars on the road.

Looking on the bright side, in ten years time there will be an edict prohibiting a private individual from working on their own car.........who wants to run the risk of getting an electric shock from their car in any case

Only joking. But it leaves a lot to be desired in the spare parts department. It is fast becoming the complete throwaway society.

You won't be allowed your own car if you live in an urban area, you'll just have to call a self-driving electric car.
