Default BMW microphone with parrot CK3100

Im wondering if the BMW microphone which I know fits into the courtesy light cluster can be wired into the parrot?
I dont like the way the little microphone has been fed up the A pillar (my car has side airbags) and I think the install would just be much neater using the ready made location.

No it doesn't work Richard, I've tried it and the person on the other end of the line gets frightened when talking to a Dalek

The parrot microphone will fit in the housing, that’s where it is on my car when I found the rest of the kit buried behind the dash.
