Default kv6 head bolts

I'm taking the heads off my kv6 to renew valve stem oil seals . Looks like a huge amount of work to get at a tiny part
Does anyone know the size of torx socket I need for the head bolts ? I have a selection , but knowing my luck I won't have the one I need . I have looked on Rave and Haynes but can't find it
Any tips will be welcome

Is it not possible to change the valve stem seals without removing the heads? I've done it on small block Chevy V8s using air pressure to keep the valves closed while the valve springs were off.

Cheers,
Glenn

I have changed K16 4 cylinder valve stem seals leaving the head on using string (to support the valve) passed through the spark plug holes at bdc then moving the piston to tdc before cracking off the collets. No problems. Not tried a KV6.

I believe the answer is a categoric "no" !
Having had several K16 4 cyl models over the years I wish I still had one for this job ! The Kv6 however is a pig to get at , both banks being steeply inclined with the rear head stuck against the bulkhead . I have already refurbed 2 spare heads in readiness and the thought of trying to remove / refit those tiny collets without excellent access leaves me cold

You can do them with a normal 12 pointed socket. I thought they were an et10??

Have you done it ? I don't want to risk damaging those bolts when torqueing them up
I do have an E12 as it happens
