Dash Clock Nolonger Working
Hi Chaps, after several attempts at resetting the sevice interval yesterday I noticed that the clock is nolonger working. I may have inadvertantly touched another pin on the ODB2 which has caused this. The Haynes manual does say that you can possibly blow fuses when jumping wire across the pins so my question is....is there a fuse for the clock? If so, which one. Paul

Fuse is shared between the OBD posrt and the clock.
The lower dash panel passenger sude has a scematic for the fuse box as there are a number of variations.

Generally Fuse No: 9 5 amp in the Passenger Foot-well Fusebox.
It also does Sat Nav if fitted and Seats and Diagnostics. Can differ on some fuse boxes as they didn't always standardise. Edit: Must look up quicker. Beat me David. |

Hi Greeners, that was quick. Are you saying there is a fuse box on the passenger side as well as under the bonnet? Could blowing this fuse be the reason I could not reset the service interval too. Paul

If you've blown the fuse then yes.

Thanks David and JDC. I will nip out lunch time and check to see if it is fuse No. 9 and 5 amp and then get another fuse on my way home. Have ordered a reset tool off eBay so I dont go blowing more fuses, besides, you need to be a contourtionist so see the ODB2 pins... Paul

why do they put fuse boxes in such awkward places. Had a look just now but its raining and theres still 2 inches of snow on the ground here in Hook so it will have to wait until the weekend.
