Default Front door speaker wiring - replacing oem speakers...

Afternoon all

Treated myself to some JL Audio C1-650's - a pair of component 6.5" speakers for the front doors on my R75 saloon.

Had the door cards off the other day, had a fiddle with mounting these new speakers - and suffice it to say, I'm going to need to make the MDF mounts shown elsewhere on the forum (probably a good thing anyway).

I have the stuff for that - got it down as a project this weekend!

Now, my question is - when I look at the connectors from the OEM wiring loom to the speakers, it's not just "L/R stereo cable", but a block with about half a dozen wires on...

My C1's have the separate tweeters, and come with their own cross-overs.

Which wires do I need from the original loom, (presumably just l /r inputs?) , then I assume I replace the "oem connection to the tweeter pods" with the cross over cable/box that came with the C1s?

Do I need to splice anything anywhere - I don't really want to be cutting looms if I don't have to, and I dont think I'll actually need to?

TIA
