Default And yet another MOT pass!

My ZT CDTi+ Auto (with club remap) was in for its MOT test today.

I was worried about the stricter diesel emissions test being a problem, as last year it was tested with a limit of 1.5 but this year it would be tested to 1.0 (the number off the chassis plate). I was tempted to pry the chassis plate off with a screwdriver, as apparently if there is no chassis plate they test to 3.0 for turbos! But I didn't.

My baby has just over 170,000 miles on the clock... but it passed first time with just one advisory (pitted rear brake discs). And the emissions were just 0.66, well within the limit. Very happy!

Glad you got a pass, I finally got a pass today after 2 rear springs, front drop links and anti roll bar bushes, but got advisories on corrosion on both suspension rear upper arms and fraying on seat belt. With cambelt tensioner water pump oil and filter change mot Copperleaf has cost me over £900 this month, but passed. Now need to look at getting new suspension arms ready for next year, should I get upper and lower ready?
