Probably from lack of washing rather than mudflaps, none of mine with mudflaps have gone like that!

At first glance the car looks like it's in decent shape. The paintwork looks acceptable and the interior is excellent. But that rust is definitely pretty bad. I wonder if it'll get saved or scrapped? Also, the rust is in those dirt trap spots I posted about the other day, which is why it's worth giving them a clean out.
If it ends up going for spares, I could always do with a sandstone interior...

Decent used wings are dirt cheap and bolt on so no need to even consider scrapping it.

ive got mudflaps all round on my 2.0 cdt apart from scraping high speed bumps ive no problem with them.. no crud or anything behind them as i keep them clean
