Like a lot of people, I’m terminally bored these days, and re-watching old serieses (hey, it’s MY thread, I’ll say “serieses” if I want to ) on telly, and just started Life on Mars from 2006, and nice to see the opening sequence consists mostly of 75’s – jam sandwiches and plain.

Must have been some serious (and desperate ) product placement going on…

When I watched it I think I spent a good 15 minutes looking up all the regplates, to see if they were still around. Most were fake if I remember correctly.

Oh really! I did that with Midsomer Murders when I went through all the early episodes of it where Barnaby's car was a 75. They were all genuine, and in fact a couple of them were reported on here for sale on eBay, possibly bought by members, can't remember.

One of the ones in the pic above had a BX registration, which my TF has, and somebody told me they thought the BX's were all factory demo models or something. Probably nonsense

The midsomers car was owned by a former member, and I believe is still knocking about somewhere I think? As was the one used on Top Gear 😎

That's the one I remember best, but there was at least one other one (non facelift) before it

And another BX reg, I see... the plot thickens...

And another one (God I'm bored) - this time in Midsomer Murders S15 E03, somewhere up around the Ridgeway if I'm not mistaken. Normally I dont like green cars, but I think this suits the Rover

Sorry it's a {naughty word} pic of my telly
