Question Changing the standard exhaust

When changing over the exhaust from a standard system to a stainless or even just changing the rear box to a performance one, do you still re-map the management system to take into account the difference in pressure or is it not really worth it for the couple of BHP it would lose, not gain without the re-map?

I don't think anyone has the engine remapped after a swop to a stainless as there is so little difference ion exhaust gas flow rates.

I've not read of anybody having to remap anything through just changing the exhaust system either.---
