Exhaust changing
When changing the exhaust for either a SS one or just the back box for a performance one, does the car need to be re-mapped to take into account the difference in air flow/back pressure or is it not worth it for the loss of a couple of BHP?

No need to alter the mapping, you should free up a couple of bhp with a free flowing pipe on.
