LOL It's heading this way with weather warnings out for heavy rain & thunderstorms later on tonight. Just as well I didn't water the garden plants. Might get a light show overnight.

Evenin all, Jeff , sorry to hear of your loss of one of your cats.
Just read it on your post, been there a couple of times with dogs .
It was a hard thing to do but when they stop eating and drinking , you know there is only one thing to do, having 2 dogs put to sleep was very hard to go through.
The first dog was my own dog, who was adopted by a very clever doctor, and I had him to come to our house after her work was hard to look after the dog, the other dog was my wife’s parents dog and after they both passed away in the same year.
My first dog was approximately 12 years old , and the westie was about the same age. At least you have a few cats Jeff and they have a good life with you and Ros.

n Well perhaps coming the end of summer holidays, I may be able to come somewhere, and possibly bring Graham from Scotland for a trip.

Good news about you getting your license back. Been a long haul over the last 3 years but you have made it this far so fingers crossed for you.
Don’t know if I’ll be up this year but will let you know in good time.
Thanks Bob. I get the above in reply to my text to you, if you do come up ,I have moved house in September last year, still in same village but in a new estate about 1/4 mile away, it’s towards the next village westbound, which is only a mile and a half away.

Default Fliss

We were heart broken to hear of your loss of Fliss, must have been a treasured part of your family, as you know we decided to adopt a Kitten from the RSPCA,
Rover our resident puss has taken to him okay, any way Freckles had his second Leukemia injection and can now be let out for the first time, obviously
we are apprehensive hoping he doesn't disappear.

Indeed.

Molly is the only girl cat in the house now and looked a little sad on Sunday.

Lots of fuss made of her and the others and they seem to be happy now. The power of Dreamies me thinks

Thanks Richard,

Yep, it is always the last act of kindness we can do for our furry friends.

For Ros and I over the years we have said goodbye a good few times. They may no longer be with us but are still in our hearts every day

Thanks Julien,

So glad that they are getting along.

Make sure you leave something with his scent on near to the entrance he uses. Always helps, just in case he gets a little lost on his first few adventures. It helps to guide them home

We had heavy rain most of yesterday afternoon and last night.

Sun is back out again now and it is nice and warm with just a gentle breeze.

Off to work this afternoon for Hyundai in Colchester. Should be a nice afternoons shoot

We've finally got a stairlift sorted out for Noreen privately, Fed up with waiting on social/community services etc. It's a good condition used one with warranty for £500 fitted. They're coming next Wednesday to install it.
