Default Finally! The Marina has come out of hibernation!!

I've not driven this car since around October last year.
With the Welsh lockdown restrictions following on from Winter, I haven't even seen it since March. I missed it, I missed it a lot.

Anyway, with the restrictions eased, I ordered an oil filter and some new oil, complete with a freshly charged battery and headed over to see it.

I changed the oil and fitted the battery, cranked it over on the starter for a bit to give the oil a chance to circulate, pulled the choke out and away it went.

A nice run across the Brecon Beacons. Absolutely lovely. Hopefully next week I can give it a clean!

Very nice indeed When I saw Morris Marina & Welsh lockdown in this thread I thought you were Morris McKinnon from his youtube channel & you'd finished the mustard coloured Marina restoration.

There's one in this colour in a local scrapyard near me, it's hard to believe it after such a long time but it's really there among the newer stuff.

It really was. I'd forgotten just how good driving it makes me feel.

Oh, really? Has it been there long? What's the name of the scrapyard?

The scrapyard is J T Wade, Warrington. If you give him a call he'll tell you all you need.
