yeah, Ill have to double check with my partner. Hes using just until his import is registered by the DVLA

Amongst other sundry items. So my point is that advisories is rather a vague area and should be regarded with some caution and can in some circumstances make a car look in a bad light. Testers don't expect owners generally to be very knowledgeable about their cars but an older one that's clearly cared for should be a clue. I won't be using them again. |

What many don't realise is that the DVLA monitors testing stations and if the statistics don't match the average then they get inspected. If they then find anything amiss then the tester is suspended.
So I'm never surprised to get an advisory or two even if I know there's nothing wrong. Russ
