Exclamation Electric Rear Sunblind

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a rear sunblind, preferably with the smokestone parcel shelf.

I'm also after the switch

Cheers

Smokestone are very rare so just buy a sandstone one and spray a few coats of satin black on it and swap the black plastic belt holders over plus rear vents and job done.

I was a bit unsure on doing this, but gave it a go, I stripped down the whole shelf, cleaned everything first including the shelf and allowed to fully dry. Did the painting thing and left it to thoroughly dry. Re-assembled everything and fitted to my car and very pleased with the result. The reason for my doing this is that my 75 has been transformed into MG spec inside!
Well worth a go if you take plenty of time to do it!

maybe I mixed up colours. I think I meant ash grey (the standard contemporary SE grey)?

Do not necessary need the parcel shelf as I could modify my existing one.

Just doing a colour change on a spare shelf with blind, if your original shelf was bare, you may find it quite a task to attach the mechanism, and judge where the fixings should be assuming you can get them.

Smokestone shelves aren't rare, any car with Ash Grey seats will have Smokestone trim. Just purchase a blind and cut your existing shelf.

Acquired from trikey. Thanks, mate!

Successfully started the transformation process from sandstorm beige to smokestone grey. Thanks, Greeners, your pictures helped.
