ATS what a letdown.
I just can't seem to get good service, can I? Three days ago I ordered Paul's ZT two front tyres as the cracks had gotten even bigger since its MOT as I was driving and I didn't want to be using her - booked in for 11.30 this morning.
I book a day off work to take my dog to the vet and get the tyres on. I'm driving down to them at 11.16 exactly when my phone rings. Naturally I don't answer as the ZT has no Bluetooth. I arrive, and they tell me not only do they not have the tyres, that as I paid online I cant have my money back to go elsewhere for 4-5 days! Its disgusting that they took the money three days before I was supposed to get any goods, and when they can't get the goods it takes all that time to get back. They didn't even offer another brand . Just we can't get any!!!! I rang and complained and was told actually as I had paid with Paypal they would refund me today. I get a message later saying yes, they refunded, but I can't draw on it until 31st of October! Scandalous! Its funny, a big company like that can't come up with two tyres in three days with the money upfront, when I then rang a local place who offered me several brands there and then. Within 3 hours, not three days, with no upfront payment they came to my house and fitted them on my drive. Yes, bit more money, but at least I actually got tyres for it!!! |

Glad to hear that , sometimes a car comes along and for whatever reason it has something special that just grabs you .
With mine its got the same birthday as me , silly but special , where am I going to find another car built on the 4th july All the best with it ,I'm sure it will throw tantrums and spit its dummy out , but just stand back , look at it and smile.

Just be gentle on them, Dawn. If you start to get vibration, slow down and get them changed asap. Vibration precedes failure, sometimes by not much time! (unless it has just thrown a weight)

That's the problem Dawn, first foot has to be done by a man, not a ginger one either, and he must be carrying a piece of coal, and you must give him a glass of whisky once he has entered the house.

Yes you can Dawn, and you did, once you junked the 'fast fit' boys and supported your local specialist.
