Default One minute it will rev the next it wont ?

Looks like l have an intermittent problem

One minute it fires up and runs like normal, then the next time it will start as normal but wont rev up and the tick over is a little higher than normal

2.0 Cdti, 1/2 tank of fuel, Checked both fuel pumps are working, New fuel filter, Tried MAF plugged in and unplugged.

These diesels are drive by wire, and it sounds like your accelerator pedal assembly is on the blink.
