Cool

Morning everyone. No rain yet but it is a grey start to the day.

Off to town as I need to go to the Post Office to send some stuff off.

Doesn’t give you much confidence in the surgery.
Good morning Bob

As you know recently Jessica was in hospital for a broken hip. On discharge from hospital her blood pressure medication had been stopped because they decided she no longer needed it. Since discharge I have been monitoring her blood pressure daily and so far without the BP medication it’s been normal. I will monitor it for 2 weeks until her next telephone GP appointment. I don’t believe everything the doctors say or trust them fully, even though the NHS gave Jessica excellent care. She is doing well post op.

You said you are being referred for tests?

On another matter: Colvert

I did have his name and address in my inbox but deleted it last year when I was very ill, my apologies.

If you can send me his details, I will search the deaths and obituaries in France and England so that his death can be confirmed and we can have closure, then he can be entered onto the club’s memorial board.

Thank you,

Phil

Good morning everyone

A successful visit yesterday to the hospital to track down Jessica’s missing discharge medication, a box of Codeine tablets. Before I left for the hospital, I rang up the ward and spoke to the ward doctor, who then passed me onto the matron. She said it would not be a problem in replacing the missing medication and apologised. Within the hour I met up with the matron and she gave me the box of Codeine tablets after checking I was in possession of Jessica’s discharge letter, impressive.

Today, I am resting, not going anywhere and concentrating on helping Jessica and we have a live stream of a family funeral to watch this morning, amazing technology.

That’s a very solemn thing to watch the funeral. Please take my condolence to you Phil.

As per usual, like yesterday Thursday and Wednesday, it’s chucking in down with rain again. The amount it’s constant going to rain next week is making our rear hedge very long, the along it’s meant to constantly rain I’ll have my pacemaker checked and likely have to cut the hedge myself.
Unless we move House before it dries out.
This is a bit of a bad couple of the next couple of weeks, it’s the day before my birthday last year my mum was taken to hospital then passed away on 2/8..
It’s a time I don’t feel like doing anything but I keep told I should not become so sad and spoil everybody else’s mood themselves. I’ll have to try the best.

A sad and depressing time for you Richard, the anniversary of your mum’s passing. You’re right, your mum would not want you to be miserable, but to remember her and to celebrate her life, is the right thing to do.
