No but it is generally understood that 6 years is about the limit but it is all down to suitability for purpose, plus how it affects the user tax wise.
We are a very small company, I have pretty much final say on this whilst the car is not costing money to fix up, but as the car gets older and they have put up my tax bill on it again this year, I can pay less personal tax on a brand new car and so keeping a car too long does not make sense financially even though there is nothing wrong with the car, plus we could do with something to write down on the capital allowances. Now I hate this scenario, if it was the old days and I was on 1/3 tax due to vehicle age, especially on a car as good as the zt you would have to prise it off me. I had decided to run the zt till early 2011 if nothing else popped up as my original choice of replacement a Subaru Leggy diesel tourer (old shape) is now a fortune to buy as the new one looks a bit pants. But this BMW ticks a lot of boxes.
