More power needed for towing CDT Auto 114 bhp
My 53 reg classic needs more power for towing my caravan, 1410kg fully laden. What can be done, and at what cost, to give the old girl a boost of power. I do not want to sell the car just for the sake of a caravan, but neither do I want to sell our caravan.
It is the basic CDT engine with auto box so hopefully I can give it more power to make towing easier. |

My car is a manual and I have found the remap that no doubt Big Russ will supply has transformed the car. I tow a 5 birth caravan.

Posting a public message like this is not really needed is it ? Surely a much better way is to send Mike a PM if you have a problem so he can correct it, But I suppose it is to be expected Dave |

I respectfully suggest the post that was public that I responded to, is the one that is in the wrong. I feel I have the right to respond in the same way it was made, public! If you read the thread referred to, you can then tell me if you think the post by another_clean_sheet is appropiate I could be wrong, perhaps I did make a negative comment about remapping a 113/115 engine but I do not think I did. I never meant to as I have never considered it a bad thing to do. macafee2 |
