Happy New Year to all. Saw the new year in on my own. Ging was supposed to be off but four staff called in sick so she ended up working. From my railway managerial days I'm cynical about anyone calling in sick at this time of year.

Happy New Year, everyone. I got up at 2pm today.

Only because I had diarrhoea in the middle of the night. I was in my bed by 12:30am and then the s**** hit me at 2:30am. From then on, I didn't get back to sleep until 8am! Must of been that dodgy pizza last night...

I feel fine now, though. Just having a long hard think of my life and what this year will bring. The future scares me...

I have just watched the weirdest "instructional" film from the 1940s about how to refuel your two stroke motorcycle. Its on again tomorrow, 1.50-2pm on talking pictures if anybody is interested.
