Hi Matt.
I thought I did sometime back, that is the reason I like to use the one in my link with the lugs, they help to support the body of the housing onto the head

I'll post again when we have news on the arm pricing - I'm pretty keen to get it as low as possible, as I know of a good few R40s now written off because of these.
Excellent look forward to the post good luck Arctic.

Hi Jim.
I thought they were original as stated in the listing and seem to be the same as those on Rimmers ?

But if they are not and I am not sure I will bow to your knowledge and remove the link asap Arctic.

Sadly Steve, we are both right. They are now likely to be the only ones available, the part number was changed a few years ago and production moved to India, when quality went down hill. I managed to find a NOS 'diamond' pattern UK made item a couple of years ago and it shows no wear at all. I had 2 of the 'pimpled' Indian versions prior to that and they both were in shreds after less than 5k miles of driving. If you have a worn out pedal rubber it at appears you are stuck with this vastly inferior replacement.

We've had a couple of reports of the latest Unipart links failing - seems they're the same as the rest of the eBay stuff now, but in a Unipart box.
Shame as for that price they'd have been a fantastic buy!

One was from a member, hopefully he'll see this and add his experience

I wonder why you would want to put people off before they have even been given the chance to try out the links, why not wait until they have been tried by me or any other member?, did the reports you so called had of Unipart links failing come from the same seller as I have linked ?

Personally I think you have just added to the thread so you can advertise your items, I have spoke to you about this from day one about the threads I put up and you jump on the back of them, but it falls on def ears for some reason, are you saying that your drop links are better and do not fail.

I really dislike the fact that you have decided to make your mind up that the drop links I have listed are no good or refer to that, why not buy some fit them then report back ? as I do with items I purchase.

Hopefully this will not be another thread I have to have closed because of advertising as in the past, i think i am wasting my time here sometimes.

My deepest apologies for adding experience I’ve been told from others using the same drop links, and for blatantly pushing my own products in my comment (oh wait, I didn’t).
They HAVE been tried by others, hence my comment...

Would you like some salt and vinegar for that chip on your shoulder?

I’m just as much of a member as you, I’m entitled to add my opinion to yours or any other thread, and I’m sure members are grateful for my input as well as yours.

And I ask again from the same seller yes or no.

I have no chip on my shoulder, just that most parts you sell I can purchase the same for half the price, and yes they are the same parts or better, have you got a phone number for your customers yet so they can contact you, another reason I have never bought anything from you.

There is saying in life if you have nothing good to say, then say nowt or did you think! I know I will save all the member from making a mistake?, except like I said I try the products out.

Just because I have never bought from you why would you want to try and make my links or me look stupid, let the members or owners add to the post with there thoughts not you had your poison for your own gain.

I am sure people would still purchase from you, if they wanted your drop links which are no better than any others either are they ?
