Changed the 260's oil and filter..
was a bit warm out .

Last time was done by a garage.... and I found the under tray fixings all loose and the front one missing, and the front lip just tucked in ..

Changed the vacuum hose from ?connector? To egr solenoid valve on RKZ.
Existing one was fraying, even though I couldn’t see it rubbing off anything.

Well, That was fun (And futile)
I'm going to be setting off on a 1500 mile trip through the Rocky Mountains in my ZT-T in July so thought I had better get ahead of potential problems and install an orange clip on my fuel filter assembly.
I did battle with the back seat to get access, removed the cover and filter assembly only to find it already had an orange clip!
Back in went the filter. It battled me for a while until I remembered that the seal must go in first. then the fight to get the seatbelts through the seat base and the seat back into position.
At least I won't have to worry about it coming apart!

Enjoy your trip Richard. Prepared the diesel for its mot over the weekend. Brake pads are soon going to be changed(I already have them) but they should be no problem. Did the obligatory handbrake adjusting. Did not need much adjustment as I very rarely use the handbrake only when on hills. Always leave it in reverse. Oil and filter changed a couple of weeks ago. Air filter ok for another year. Collected last night, and will be mot’d today. .

This last week, removed front bumper and slam panel to replace condenser radiator and while the car was in bits, convert car to twin horns, replace broken head light, polished and refitted both head lights, remove twin horn wiring harness from donor car, refit slam panel and front bumper.

Default BRG Rover 75 CDTi Auto Deep Sea Green Interior.

Got a date for MOT NI is way back logged and I had a date 23rd September, just managed to get a cancellation for next Saturday 1st July23. Hopefully all will be well. Just a discrepancy with the new instrument cluster milage. Not sure how that effects the MOT. Should I be successful its going for sale. Now to low for me.

Not mine but local owner, had the heat shield hanging down, sorted that out with some new alloy larger washers.

Default Rear Number Plate Lights

Replaced the rear number plate light plinth. Had to cut two small sections out of the new plinth so it would fit on the ZT. Now I have fully functioning rear number plate lights. Hardest bit was getting the rear spoiler aligned and bolted back on, those bolts are a real pain.
