Got shot of my horrible uneven wear tyres for a new set of Avon ZV5's and had a 4 wheel alignment.
Love the Avon tyres, put a set of ZV3's on my previous Rover 75, find them quiet, comfortable and grippy.

Took the advice on here about "machine gun boot lock" 2 twists of the rubber stoppers and it works like new

Played with the 75 Contemporary SE again - today cleaning up the engine bay, and investigating the whining from the engine bay. Sounds like power steering pump - nice and simple to fix.

Washed, Clayed, Polished, and Waxed, she looks fabulous. Gave the car a clean too.
Spent a lot of time on the misted headlamps, laborious but well worth the effort.

Fitted another new set of headlight bulbs (H7), as the Osram Nightbreaker I fitted in Januaury both blew the other day. Now fitted Philips Vision Plus, see how long they last..

I've had a busy day! Got the fuel filter changed, sounds simple but wasn't..... Engine running full power again after limp home mode. Then got out the soldering iron and some speaker wire to fix the burnt out pcb for the number plate lights. Both working again!

Replaced my strut top studs on one side (one snapped) with new bolts, welded on the underside and painted up. Jobs like this are much easier with freshly copper greased bolts.

Now the attention turns to MOT preparation. The list so far includes, rear brake pipes, lower arm rear bushes and a good checking over to try for an advisory free test.

Also have to get tyres sorted for my Meteors and collect a sizeable number of bits and bobs from Fraser.

Only bought mine earlier this week, took it to Trikey today to have it checked over, all OK (big thanks to Trikey for all his help) Received the Club stickers of choice but got to clean the windows first before they go on
