checked the boot for any signs of water ingress after the rain of biblical proportions the last couple of days. All bone dry. I had found the other week a some water ingress on the off-side, it was dripping off the wiring loom to the rear light. Couldn't see anywhere obvious at the time, but took the boot seal off and cleaned it all up and put back and just screwed the boot lid buffers in a nat's.

Must have been seeping under the boot seal perhaps, but whatever if it hasn't leaked after this rain then it's probably not going to. Glad I fixed the sunroof drain on the driver's side a few weeks back, although still have to take the carpet out to dry out.

Just returned from the dump. Throw away 3 boxes full of good Rover 75 parts. A front seat, interior items, 4 good wheels, spare cushions, badges etc.
Had it for sale for 2 months and hardly any interest at all, and I imply don't have the space for it.

Kinda sorry to see good items go.

Changed the intercooler o rings on my 75 cdti today after finding a very oily mess in the front of the engine bay! The top ring had expanded quite a bit and popped out of the tube, and the bottom one had fell into the intercooler in 3 bits!

Fitted a drivers grab-handle to my 1.8, should be good now for an extra mpg and mph, if not, then at least all three cars have now got one. Actually, thinking about it, it will probably be one less due to its extra weight than the blanking plugs that were previously there?

Swapped out my bumper bolts for something a bit more showy 😁 Hopefully I can get time to MOT Bumble this week too.
My van passed this morning 😉

Mr Bumble. You will now have to get those cross-heads plated to match. Plus, if you insist on wearing flip-flops; your toenails painted as well

As it was raining, I wiped off the softened seagull stools from the windscreen, then drove to the Chinese takeaway to collect my tea
