Missed this one earlier honey. If you are aware, why the complaint about having the vin? Quit whining trying to deflect on what the original issue was.

The opportunity to distance yourself from the alleged crime was offered, but thrown back with disdain. If I recall, it was after that, that accusations were made, that you felt the need to defend yourself from.

On the face of it, to myself and others, made and still makes you look bad.

According to the Master(Brian) there are four Maps for the diesel 160
115 to 160 manual
131 to 160 manual

115 to 160 auto
131 to 160 auto

Mine was a 131 manual so we are saying all the alleged maps were done on a 131 manual because as I understand it from Brian they are Not interchangeable

Please check the geography

There are four maps Steve, but if you are cloning then ‘one size fits all’ so to speak.

Can you explain how a cloned map was on your ecu then?

Common sense would say there are maybe two, a manual map and an auto map - what BHP you start with should be irrelevant as you have the same basic components to map but the gearbox might make a difference. Or it might well not as long as the torque doesn't challenge the auto gearbox. Depends though doesn't it due to these being generic maps rather than rolling road ones generated for the car.


That's a different story though as we are talking about one bit of software which has allegedly been cloned from an ECU and no one here is talking about people properly mapping engines.


Get a grip, if you have a map cloned from another ECU you have basically stolen it, if you owned a rolling road and came up with your own you would be seriously miffed if people cloned that and THAT is what this is about.

It will never be the end as long as we have nutters like us that keep posting and sharing our passion for cars this place will still keep going.

Its the certain few that need too toughen up mentally the whole part of opinions if you don't like it be a man about it and just carry on.

Seeing all this is just boggles the mind we are all adults and for the last few posts its been a like a child's playground.
