An update for everyone, the plans are as follows for the "meet"

To give everyone in the East side of the country a chance, we shall be meeting firstly at 10.00am on Saturday morning at the Moria Roundabout BP, DEPARTING NO LATER THAN 10.30am.

This is literally 200 yards from the M1. And is really good meeting point we have used before when coming from one side of the country to the other.

The address is BP Station, Glenavy Road, Moira, BT67 0LT

At this point we will return to the M1 and drive down it until the end of the M1, where we shall take the A5 through Omagh.

This is a straight road, and we shall meet up with other members from the West of the country, and the owner of the collection at the Maxol at Mount Joy on the Beltany Road. We are aiming to be there for 11.30am.

The address and post code for the Maxol is 86-88 Beltany Road (The A5), Omagh, BT78 5NL.

Thumbs up

Just wanted to give Colin a BIG PAT on the back for organising this. Everyone who attended the meet made my son & I feel more than welcome as this was our first club run, they are a great bunch of guys & gals.
I Found the Abingdon Collection very interesting & well worth a visit to anyone wishing to cross the pond for a visit.

An amazing military collection that for many of us, became more interesting than the cars and the car collection!

A selection of the photos from the day can be found in these links below a few of the examples along with some more convoy photos and such!
