but have you ever had to claim? i heard it would only cover for complete failure and if you had full service history and under 100,000 miles is that the case?

Most warranties you have to prove that the car has been service to the manufacturer's specification and with a current MOT

I have had to make a few claims never no problems with the AA Cover I once took out warranty direct complete nightmare turbo packed in they sent out an engineer he said that it was wear and tear so had to cough up £1000 for new turbo and that cover cost £380 AA much cheaper and the experiences I have had much better like I said had to make a few claims over the years never a problem

Years ago the car had to be less than 10 years old and under 100,000 miles now I don't think it matters my friend has it on his car and he's got 130,000+ on the clock and had over 100.000 when he took out cover

I am with Warranty Direct at the moment and as you say its £380 a year plus and I am not very happy with them I think that I will give the AA a go when this one runs out

I only went with them for the 1 year don't think I would recomend them it wasn't only the fact that they wouldn't pay up but my car was at the garage for nearly 3 weeks before the inspector came to look at it and make a desision I read on here one or two bad reports about the AA but I have never had any problems making a claim I think as long as you call out their patrols and they can not fix at the roadside then your covered
