Cool

Good morning everyone.

We escaped the torrential rain, and glad to say no flooding around here. Parts of Devon copped though with serious flooding.

Put new tyres on Banana yesterday so taking her down to Par market for my meat order, then home via the tyre shop to have the wheel bolts retightened, if they need it.

Sorry folks, it's my fault. I cut the grass and that always seems to make it rain!

Back home after cleaning up from last nights deluge, everything left dry and tidy

Guess what?

The storm has followed me home,is been thunder lightning rain hail and more rain, water coming down driveway at side of bungalow and into the garage, its flooded everywhere, just finished sweeping the surface water into the drains, its a nightmare I tell you.

Hosepipe ban next

Yep, lots of floods down here too, saw the fire service in barnstaple blue lighting with two ribs in tow, obviously someone was in need.

Then half hour later on a country road a bus had hit a lorry, ot looked like the river crossing the road was the issue.

Thankfully a dry ish day today with an appearance of Mr Sun, forecast for the weekend looks good too...

I am sorry Sandra and yourself are having to go through this, how sad and very disappointing for you both, you are being tested.

Apparently we are in for a storm tomorrow, with high winds and torrential rain.

Do take care.
