v8 throttle cable
anyone know what similarities there are with the Throttle cables on the pertrol cars Say the 2.5 vs the V8 , the bigun needs a new cable ..

Nothing now hopefully ,
Actually on investigation nothing at all ... took it off checked it , ptfe lubed it, re routed the cable , modded the TBody fixed end bracket and it seems ok now . Gone back to the original spring, otherwise the tickover stays a bit high. Used to have a real sticky spot ( 1800rpm) when the motor got hot.. made life a bit interesting in traffic and a pain the drive. C
