Thanks Phil. I'm learning slowly!

You and me, both Cliff, I finished editing the video I shot on the phone. It says 4 hours to download it to the file, 1080p @ 15 minutes of filming, so I am going to let it run through the night and will upload to the hosting site in the morning. Hopefully it will turn out okay

Good morning Cliff, the transfer failed. I have reduced the quality to 520p large and it is saying it is going to take 4h 48m

That's frustrating for you Phil after all the work editing the video - you have my sympathies.

I'm putting a video together myself, but the editing is taking me ages as I didn't really shoot enough decent video and will have to supplement it with some photos. I suppose one of the pre-requisites of making a video is to actually take some footage in the first place . Never mind, it's just a bit of fun .

Hi Cliff, I had the camera with me but did not want to get it wet, so used the phone as it was in a protective water resistant case. I used catchy music from Audio Networks, with a Creative Commons Licence for hobbyists. With stabilisation and rolling shutter control in the edit, I missed out some the peripheral frames, so deduced if I switched it off, it would add to the reality and we would see more of the frames. As you say, it is fun. It is good to share pointers. I had a few over the years from Jimbo, Rocket, Reebs and your good self

Apologies to Peter H, who asked me to hold his brolly. I passed it to someone else and somehow it ended up on the ground. I hope he forgives me, the rascal

Great video Phil, thanks for posting . I've just finished mine and will post it up once it's uploaded to the internet.

I have to say mine is quite dull in comparison, there are far more things going on in yours and the choice of music makes for a far more upbeat video . I used Adobe Premiere Elements for mine and the soundtrack is an auto generated tune. It's quite pleasant at first, but begins to grate after a short while. The tune definitely outstays its welcome .

My only complaint with yours is that, for some strange reason (probably a trick of the light) it makes me look as if I have less than a full head of hair. Can't be right, surely!

I think on my next video attempt, I will take a leaf out of your book and try to get more "in there" with the cars. Certainly makes for a more entertaining viewing. All part of the learning process .

Cheers,

Cliff

Here we go, my effort at a video. Can't guarantee you'll like it, but can guarantee the music will irritate after a few minutes .

Edit: video removed as I've noticed an error. I'll repost it in 30 mins or so

Cliff
Love the thunder sound effects at the start
