will my Tourer ever be anything but a
will my Tourer ever be anything but a shed?
The front end is in bits, the boot area is in bits and now it is crammed full of spare parts, removed parts and holiday gear, even the roof is supporting removed parts and spare parts. Friday onwards, the reassembly starts. macafee2 |

Camping gear is in the boot because as with car in bits I cant get to the loft and will want the camping stuff before car is back together. I have some bits to shot blast and paint before refitting. Also in the boot are the internal side panels removed from the boot area to trace 2 leaks, I have found 1, near side rear window. Second leak still to trace but could be to do with roof bars. There is also a replacement tool tray as the original one is being replaced as I will be fitting a full size spare wheel. Front seat is spares collected for getting this back on the road. I have a few jars labelled with what bolts they contain, the battery and undertray taking up more garage space. Once gearbox and engine refitted most of the work should be easy, just expecting the clutch master cylinder to be difficult. macafee2 |

Slightly off topic but I am still trying to trace where water gets into my ZTT and accumulates below where the CD cassette goes. I think the offside rear window seal is faulty. It was taken out to repair some minor accident damage and I think I need to get it refitted.
I see you traced a leak from the nearside rear window, had it been removed and refitted to your knowledge? Did you simply refit it or use some sealant? |

It’ll be nice to see those parts disappearing from inside and on top of the car, to onto and underneath the car.😬
