Yeah, well I did think the pump would be ok, so to ask the question again, when there is no power to the pump is the oil pressure warning lamp lit with the key turned to position 2?
It's a fairly standard test for late cars fitted with an EOBD compliant ECM, as if the oil pressure lamp doesn't light, then the CANBUS controller in the ECM has bought the farm  Not the end of the world though as it can be sorted out at a reasonable price as mentioned by Trikey  Brian  |
