What drove you before an MG/Rover
Going through my Haynes manual searching for the 75 one I cam across a few for other cars that I used to have. Having a giggle I looked at some of them and it reminded me of all the cars I owned so far. Got some pictures of some of them
I thought I'd make a list: Peugeot 205 1.4 Nissan Sunny Traveler 1.6 Renault 19 1.8 16v Renault 5 1.4 Skoda Estelle 1.05 - I was desperate for a set of wheels after a crash Ford Fiesta 1.8D Nissan Cherry 1.2 Ford Mondeo 1.8 Toyota Corolla 2.0D Rover 75 1.8 - loved it, ex wife broke it Jaguar XJS 5.3 - because I wanted a V12 Vauxhall Corsa Jaguar X300 3.2 Peugeot 306 1.6 Two cars period Range Rover P38 4.6 - because I wanted a V8 Citroen Xantia 2.0 HDI - because a V8 was too expensive to use daily Ford Puma 1.7 - because the Citroen was falling apart Back to one Rover 75 CDT So far I'm sticking with my Rover, just a lovely car to own and drive

If I had the space I'd probably be after a Rover 75 V8 or an MG 190

These days as I am on the downward slope towards 50, I am not bothered about speed, more about comfort and arriving in one piece ! Last edited by andy1968; 22nd February 2014 at 16:57.. |
