Default Range Rover sills

Just asking for a friend as he is having trouble getting reputable Range Rover OUTER sills for a 2003 Range Rover L322 model.

I know that a number of contributors on here dabble in Range Rovers also and wondered if anyone has any pointers as to where to look for such parts please?

Thank you

Quick answer - there aren't any. Its a monocoque shell and BMW/Land Rover only provided complete side body replacement panels which includes the outer sill cover.
The only after market repair panels are for the inner sill (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263795604...cAAOSwteJhLIte) and the rear wheel arch panels. Your mates only real options are to find one in a scrappy with decent sills (good luck and happy hunting!!) and cut out the required area to fabricate a repair or find a good body shop who will fabricate and do the metalwork.

Thanks very much for that information which explains exactly why he could only find the inner sill.

Cheers

"find a good body shop who will fabricate and do the metalwork."

You could have a word with Tom Hobbs who does repair sills for the 75/XT.

Well recommended on this forum.

He might be able to help fabricate something for you.
