Default 75 cdti inlet manifold leaking like a sieve

hi i have 2004 tourer i have had this car for many years with no real problems.
About three months ago i pulled the engine cover off as i could smell diesel, on doing this i noticed Number one and Number two injector soaking with diesel. I have a few of these cars lying about so i pulled two injectors of a perfectly running car (but accident damaged) as thought one of these were leaking of my daily driver.
When i stripped the inlet manifold off i noticed it was not the injectors but could see abit of fuel on the face of the inlet manifold but changed the injectors just in case.
Putting new injector seals in and replaced all the gaskets on the inlet. Three months down the line i am back with the same problem. i'm pulling my hair out as have not got a clue where this fuel is coming from the engine now won't start so i can't even check to see where it is coming from. I kept checking for a few weeks to see if the fuel leak had stopped and it had.
Has any one else had the same problem or give me advice on what the problem is.
