Windscreen Replacement
My windscreen cracked recently, while parked on the drive!
Has anyone had a screen replaced recently? If so, who by, and did it come with clips for the trim? I've searched the archives and noticed that some people have had their new screens come with a bag of clips and some haven't. My insurers use Autowindscreens, so it be handy to know if anyone has experience of them. Failing that, I have to go to Lincoln next week for work, so could fit in a visit to Rimmers if necessary and save on some postage. |

I had mine changed last year by Autowindscreens, no clips were broken or replaced, and the trim sat a little better afterwards. They did a thorough cleaning before fitting the screen, I couldn't be happier with the job.

Unless I've gone crazy, there are no clips?? Except on the rear...
Had mine replaced a few months ago, and as far as I could see it was just stuck on with adhesive

There seem to be an awful lot of them and it would cost a fortune to buy all of them. I suppose the other option is to buy some remotely (distance selling) and return them if they're not needed. |
