Display still lit.
On my way home my 75 cdti just cut out,I managed to pull over.no warnings on display,it restarted and I managed to get home.I noticed that the ignition key is not as smooth to enter the barrel,after removing the key from the ignition I noticed that rhe display is still illuminated ie mileage etc,but no ignition light. any ideas,thanks Tom.

For the display issue, try a battery off reset for 20 - 30 minutes.
And check the plenum for flooding. TC |

Hi T Cut,tried both,plenums ok,have a problem with alarm and wipers activating also,do you think there is any connection?,thanks Tom.

Thanks Dave,you have just jogged my memory of a previous issue I had,that was caused by water ingress in the boot,will check and hopefully cure........Tom.
