Default Heatwave benefit

Now the hot weather has arrived I find that the annoying chattering noise from the rear of the car has disappeared! Does this give a clue as to what's wrong or should I simply hope the hot weather continues? Ps I have had a couple of mechanics investigate the noise but they hav't been able to diagnose the problem
