First I thank you profusely for sharing all of those many hours. Documenting like this definitely adds many more hours to an already long process.

Thus it is with the outmost respect that I postulate the following.

Could it be possible that the oil came through the piston rings, since the rings were all changed and all done the same way?

I just reviewed this threat and the piston ring threat and you don't mention the ring gap.

What dimension did you use to "gap" your piston rings? Could the source of that information be to blame ?

I am sure the same thought occurred to you, but maybe there are different source of information.

Hi Zefrench,

Of course, the piston rings might be the issue, but I still don`t think that issue would make the carbon build up that evenly between all cylinders. This ring gap was not checked but all parts was new. I do question the quality of these items as the liner/piston/ring kit was branded Britpart. My gut feeling tells me that this make shall be avoided in the future...

Can you post pictures of the spark plugs to see how they look?

Do you have time to post pictures of a closeup of the piston rings on one of the piston ?

Read somewhere else tonight that if the pinton ring gaps is aligned with the gongeon pin it will lead to burning oil. Not sure if that helps your investigations.
