I bought a 100E Anglia (1955 JHS477) for £4. It was a great little car, actually very well built.

How about my first car; a 1933 Austin Seven special. It cost me a couple of weeks wages (£5.15s). I promptly pulled the engine to bits to see how it worked with many greasy objects ending up on Mums kitchen table (that was fun ); and what did I do? took of the lovely canoe stern body, and dropped on a MGA look-a-like GRP body! (just to keep a girlfriend)
I have been told that the modified bodied A7 is worth a fortune now - even more than the original ....and I sold it for £7.10.6d with a broken half-shaft!
