You do need to remove the bracket beneath the battery tray. |

Removing the frame is not that simple. I found it a bit of a task and ended up having to bend one of the arms of the bracket to get it out, but don't despair that may have been just me.
If you check out some of my other posts on this issue you should find some additional info and pictures.

I found it was well worth removing the plenum panels for the sake of a few M6 bolts. Gives move access and maneuverability.

Thanks Chuck, I'm hoping that my problem is only water ingress as it started after a very wet night when I went through a lot of deep puddles.
Looks like I need to remove the metal bracket as you say Mike but I couldn't really see where the unit would be when I had the plastic battery housing removed. I assume from Typhoon's comment about the plenum panels the unit must be tucked away under the plenum chamber somewhere? Unfortunately I don't have access to a garage so I have to keep waiting for a dry day which is also not too cold to get out there and have another go. Hopefully I'll get on it again soon. Thanks for your responses. |

I've located my ABS unit so thanks for peoples help with that.
I've got to the point where I need to remove the connector. From what I've read I need to slide a locking device out first. It's a bit hard to see so can anyone give me a steer on what I should be looking for and how it works? I've also read that care needs to be taken when removing the plug so I don't want to cause any damage by pulling it out incorrectly. |

Is there anyway I can check / clean the reluctor ring without removing the hub etc?
As mentioned above the front sensor is not very old and the problems started after a very wet night and some flooded roads so I'm wondering whether water / dirt is causing my problems. |
