Classic Vehicle Gathering, Exmouth - Sunday 16th August
The annual Classic Vehicle Gathering held on the Imperial Recreation Ground (next to Exmouth Rugby Club) in Exmouth returns on Sunday 16th August and you are all invited!
For those who might have been before it is the usual format - no need to book in advance, no entry fee to pay and no set times when you have to arrive or depart. Just turn up any time between 10am and 5PM and enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of this event staged by the Devon Branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club. For anyone who wishes to make a voluntary donation to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, there will be collecting buckets. Last year the array of club entries included the Crash Box & Classic Car Club of Devon, Ford Anglia 105E Owners Club, PT Cruisers, Mazda MX-5, Torbay Scoobies and East Devon Mini Club. If you want to have a club display area, it might be advisable to speak with Lorna and let them know. For further information please telephone Lorna Moggridge during working hours on (01823) 672693. EVENT DISCLAIMER Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the Club’s public liability insurance. Also the Owners Club take no responsibility for the meet/event in any way.

Well, considering this event is 5 mins walk from home it would be rude not to go It's a nice day out, weather permitting, 5 mins to the beach, 3 mins to town, and the beautiful Manor Gardens should you want to picnic. Loads of pubs (including a Wetherspoons) KFC, chip shops, cafe's, oh and some nice classic cars at the show

Quite likely that I will turn up for this on Sunday, weather is looking Ok-ish and it's in aid of a good cause. So hope to see you there.
Cheers Ian

I have been asked by the Morris Minor Owners Club to pass on a big 'thank you' to everyone who attended their Classic Vehicle Gathering in Exmouth last Sunday (16th August). Over 350 vehicles in the form of individual cars and motorcycles, car club entries, 2 tractors and 6 Sinclair C5s attended, making it the most successful gathering yet. In the process £1,500 was raised for Devon Air Ambulance from voluntary donations and the raffle. Thank you again to Red Five and the gentleman in the lovely 75 Tourer who attended. Both cars created plenty of interest with fellow vehicle exhibitors and visitors. Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Yes, was a nice stroll around, should have parked the car up really but needed it during the day. Might have a day flyering the many owners of our cars in Exmouth and make it a little better attended next year.
