75 Braking / Warning Light problem
Hi Folks
I have a problem with 75 that I suspect is in the A.B.S. control system. The Rover in question has a problem where the o/s/f brake hammers when braking, and the A.B.S. light is illuminated. Also the Park brake light is illuminated along with fluctuating speedometer readings, A/C system being activated sometimes as well. This car has been to numerous Auto Electricians/ Rover specialists & other mechanical workshops. They are all unable to find the fault. Any thoughts, advice or solutions are warmly welcomed

Check out the multi-plug to the ABS unit under the battery, particularly if you have had a lot of water lately.
See my catastrophe last year at http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...t=abs+traction and at http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...t=abs+traction. do a search in the Technical Help forum for ABS Traction that might help. In the end I managed to obtain a new loom with plug and a new ABS unit, trouble is now I am having a problem bleeding the system - it goes on .....
